Staybills® Technical Specifications 

Staybills® comes ready to use and can be erected or dismantled from the ground, without the need for harnesses, lanyards, tools or fixings – enhancing its efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

All 3 sizes of Staybills® has been load tested by a certified third-party specialist, to BS 1139. Each Staybills® stand, taking into account the BS 1139 safety factor of 2.5, has a safe working load accreditation of 450kgs which has been stamped onto each stand.


The Solid/Hinged Panels, when put together to form a handrail, provide Class A Edge Protection to BS EN 13374. They have also been side-load and topple-over tested to BS EN 12811.


The Solid and Hinged Panels are fully steel meshed, with solid steel toe-guards, thus removing the need for additional brick-guards.

The integrated stabiliser is self-levelling and provides full support on even and un-even flat-ground conditions.

Discovering these statistics inspired Staybills® to develop the Staybills® guardrail system into our new system: Staybills® Truck Edge Protection (STEPS).


Staybills® can now be supplied in moveable, modular units in varying lengths to suit your requirements. These can be quickly and easily moved and positioned by a forklift or crane. STEPS provides a fall prevention platform around the perimeter of truck beds ranging from 3.5 tonne Vans, through 18 tonne Rigid Trucks, to 40 foot Articulated Flat Beds.


Like the Staybills® guardrail system, STEPS removes the need for wearing a harness and provides safe entry and exit via the Staybills® Ladder restraint and self-closing Safety Gate.

Based in Warrington, Cheshire, we use our own delivery trucks to deliver Staybills® to wherever you need it, throughout the UK. We handle the deliveries and collections and provide FREE competency training/toolbox talk with every delivery.
